Pineapple Rice

Portions: 6 Serving Size: 1/2 Cup

Ingredients

1 cup drained pineapple tidbits, canned in its own juice (save the liquid)
3/4 cup long grain white rice
1/4 cup pineapple juice (drained from the canned pineapple)
1-1/4 cups water

 

 

Preparation

  1. Mix together the pineapple, rice, pineapple juice & water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until all of the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

  • Serve with any of the curry
